The Waverley is proud of our extensive wine list, with wines available by the bottle and the glass from nine different countries from around the world. Matt our wine expert from The Island wine company hosts quarterly wine nights, popular with locals who have the opportunity to taste the wines on offer and vote on their favourite, the winning wine becoming the house wines.

We have brought back real ale choice. We will be rotating regular ales and introducing seasonal beers – currently London Pride and we have re-introduced real ale hand pulled from our Victorian cellar with help from Goddards we now have Wight Squirrel on tap. With many locals informing us of our Guinness being the best in Newport we are proud to be providing customers with a great taste experience.
